For over 20 years, AP and Keystone-SDA have maintained a strong and successful collaboration, which is underlined and expanded through this new agreement. Keystone-SDA’s customers will have exclusive access to AP news video, sports video from SNTV and AP Archive content, a valuable extension of the news agency’s existing video service for Swiss online platforms and social media.

With 15 years of video experience AP produces 70,000 videos per year, and 10,000 hours of live video per year across four live channels.  SNTV, a joint venture between AP and IMG, is the world's largest producer of online sports videos and provides first-class coverage in the sports sector worldwide.

 

 

This agreement also allows Keystone-SDA to license content from AP’s vast video archive, providing access to the world's largest repository of historical digitized news video. Through AP’s own coverage and the historic British Movietone collection, the archive offers more than 75,000 hours of newsfilm  from 1895 to 1986.
